ITEC 712 Day 7

We're focusing more on what we want on our own teaching web sites, and how to "make it so." In preparation for today's class, I had a first try at using the Freemind application to brainstorm content for my site-to-be. I need more practice on that application. I'm looking forward to our next class that will be on-line, using Elluminate.

Quick Google Doc Word Tutorial

On Google Doc Word, I created (well, modified) a short Google Doc Word tutorial. It's very short and you can use it to get started on Google Doc Word in 2 minutes or less. View it by clicking on the document under the heading "Useful Docs and Links" to the left.

Xmas in Australia

Xmas in Australia with my far-flung family. Brian couldn't go an stayed behind in San Francisco. That's him at the end of the video with Jessica, his girlfriend.

"See Brenda blog. Blog, Brenda, blog." Learning to blog reminds me of learning to read in kindergarten.

It's much faster though, and accelerating, as seems to be the case with all learning via Web 2.0 and other emerging technology.
